Mark Marra is a singer-songwriter and cover artist who creates memorable live performances by combining storytelling passion with a tireless focus on building rapport with audiences. His country-style acoustic shows stand out for their humor, innovative formats and old-fashioned camaraderie.
A musician since boyhood, Mark developed a following in West Palm Beach as the lead singer and guitarist for the rock cover band Loyal Opposition. In 2020 he left a job in real estate to dedicate himself full-time to music.
His passion for songwriting led him to Nashville, where he began busking on the famed Broadway strip. Playing for tips from passers-by for hours at a time, Mark became a beloved fixture of the downtown scene.
In two years as a full-time busker, he learned the importance of treating his audience as an equal partner in the musical experience, mastering a wide array of covers and incorporating live-streaming, man-on-the-street interviews and karaoke into his routine.
