PRESENTATION :

FR : Quatuor originaire de Saint-Lô (ville normande martyre, détruite à 95 % en quinze jours de juillet 1940) dont la longévité force le respect : une bagatelle de vingt-sept ans. Quatre albums de hardcore/metal décisifs, témoins de la déliquescence du temps, radiographiant une époque qui arrache l’individu au groupe comme à lui-même.

Cette furie politique déboule avec une agressivité constante et un songwriting affûté, non sans rappeler les prouesses de l’étendard Malevolence. Le sens du détail éclate notamment à travers un batteur virtuose, chef d’orchestre des arrangements, menant la charge avec une créativité rare. De sing-along en sing-along, le chanteur nous arrache les cordes vocales tandis que le groupe percute sans relâche : un somptueux parquet de danse pour folkeux radicalisés.

Un spitfire qui assène des pluies de riffs à la précision chirurgicale, engagement éternel et fer de lance du hardcore français.

ENGLISH : A quartet from Saint-Lô (a martyred Norman town, 95% of which was destroyed in fifteen days in July 1940) whose longevity commands respect: a mere twenty-seven years. Four decisive hardcore/metal albums, witnesses to the decay of time, X-raying an era that tears the individual away from the group and from himself.

This political fury bursts forth with constant aggression and sharp songwriting, reminiscent of the prowess of the standard-bearer Malevolence. The attention to detail is particularly evident in the virtuoso drummer, the conductor of the arrangements, who leads the charge with rare creativity. From sing-along to sing-along, the singer tears our vocal cords apart while the band pounds relentlessly: a sumptuous dance floor for radicalized folkies.

A spitfire that rains down riffs with surgical precision, eternal commitment, and the spearhead of French hardcore.

FR : Montage réalisé en direct au moyen d’une régie-vidéo. Un baptême pour IMPULS’LIVE, qui a pu tester ce dispositif permettant de diffuser en direct le montage du concert, avec l’ensemble du backline connecté à la régie, où se trouve un maestro qui choisit le déroulement des plans, dans le feu de l’action. Une fois le moment passé, il n’est plus possible de modifier le montage.

ENG : Live editing using a video control room. This was a first for IMPULS’LIVE, which was able to test this system for broadcasting the concert live, with the entire backline connected to the « control room », where a maestro chose the sequence of shots in the heat of the moment. Once the moment has passed, it is no longer possible to modify the edit.

FR : Déjà la 6ème édition du WINTER RIIP, brillement portée par la RIIP Asso qui anime la ville de Tours, ses alentours et l’au-delà au moyen de 2 festivals par an, qui alimentent la scène autant qu’ils s’en nourrissent.
