Women in Jazz: Live in Australia | Melbourne & Sydney Concert Highlights

As Oh! Jazz supports and celebrates this year’s Melbourne Women’s International Jazz Festival – including a full live concert from harmonica player Ariel Bart – we bring focus to a collection of outstanding female-led performances from two of Australia’s most vibrant jazz cities: Melbourne and Sydney.

This compilation highlights the artistry, imagination and distinct voices shaping Australian jazz today. Recorded live at The JazzLab, Melbourne and Foundry616, Sydney, these performances range from intimate and exploratory to soulful, modern and fiercely expressive. Together, they offer a snapshot of the depth and diversity of women leading the Australian jazz scene.
