This is my own audio recording of the Mark Knopfler concert at the huge Köln Arena in 2001. REMASTERED sound! I was seated in the infield on the left side. I guess about 20 rows back. For the encores I rushed towards the stage and was standing about 15 meters in front of stage center. This is one of my favourite 2001 shows. Mark played a very unusual first Calling Elvis solo break and very bluesy and cool licks in Brothers in Arms. Just listen to the second solo! Very good versions of Prairie Wedding, Pyroman and Speedway. I also remember Mark using a white towel to dry his hands seconds before his Romeo & Juliet solo. He used it so long that he started the solo a bit late. Really fantastic show! They needed extra P.A. for this gig in Europe's biggest indoor arena. Enjoy!
