Sufiscore is delighted to present Echoes of Reshma, a remarkable live album and concert film by Varsha Singh Dhanoa and her ensemble during a momentous visit to Lahore, Pakistan at the start of 2024.

Based in Mumbai, Varsha performed at the historic Pakistani venue Haveli Barood Khana at the invitation of producer Mian Yousaf Salahuddin, in a special Sufiscore Virsa Heritage program created to honor the legendary late Pakistani folk singer Reshma.

Varsha’s voice combines stark emotional power with tenderness, sensitivity and interpretive subtlety. These qualities come across from the opening moments of Reshma’s best-known song, with Hindi lyrics.
