Skazz is a post-punk, alternative rock band formed in 2021 in Kutaisi, the birthplace of the Georgian alternative rock scene. Consisting of Saba Vashakmadze, Nodo Kuprava, Parna Kepuladze and Koko Antelava, the band has to date released two albums (Memorial, Isterika) and one EP (Ukhvi Naleki) and played many live shows in their home country and beyond. They are heavily influenced by 80’s punk and post-punk, as well as post-Soviet aesthetics, and their manner of singing straight-forward, honest lyrics – combined with ear-catching riffs – has garnered them a devoted fanbase.
