Infadels were a London-based indie-electro band signed to the Wall of Sound record label. Founded in 2003 by Alex Bruford (drums), Matt Gooderson (guitar, programming), and Bnann Watts (vocals), they were later joined by Richie Vernon (live keys) and Wag Marshall-Page (bass).

Their debut album, We Are Not the Infadels, produced by Jagz Kooner, was released in January 2006. Their second album, Universe In Reverse, produced by Martin "Youth" Glover, came out in June 2008. Their third and final album, The Future of the Gravity Boy, was released digitally in March and physically in June 2012.

The band initially released singles "Leave Your Body" and "Can't Get Enough"/"Murder That Sound" on their own label, Dead at Thirty. "Can't Get Enough" reached No. 43 on the UK charts. Infadels won "Best Live Act" and "Best Dance Band" at the 2004 Diesel-U-Music Awards, leading to a deal with Wall of Sound.

They recorded their debut album in 2005 with Jagz Kooner and toured extensively, performing over 150 shows in 20 countries in 2006. Their second album featured singles like "Play Blind" and "Free Things For Poor People," the latter reaching No. 1 on the UK Indie Singles Charts and No. 52 on the UK Singles Chart.

In 2009, a new track "Ghosts" hinted at a return to their dance roots. Produced by Alex Metric and Matt Gooderson, their final album was released in 2012. Following the release, the band disbanded in September 2012.

In 2016, the band digitally reissued We Are Not the Infadels to mark its ten-year anniversary.
