Handel: Utrecht Te Deum HWV 278 - Holland Baroque, Nederlands Kamerkoor - Live Concert HD

In 2022 vieren we vol trots dat Utrecht 900 jaar stadsrechten heeft. Holland Baroque, Nederlands Kamerkoor, de Nederlandse Bachvereniging, de Kathedrale Koorschool Utrecht en de Kathedrale Koorschool Suriname sluiten dit feestelijke jaar af met een muzikaal eerbetoon aan de Domstad. Samen vierden zij de bijzondere verjaardag met een programma rond het meeslepende Utrecht Te Deum van Georg Friedrich Händel.

On 2 June 1122, Emperor Henry V granted city rights to Utrecht and its residents. Utrecht became an official city – one of the very first cities in the Netherlands. This year, we have been celebrating the 900th anniversary of Utrecht acquiring city rights. Holland Baroque, the Nederlands Kamerkoor, the Netherlands Bach Society, the National Children’s Choir, and the Kathedrale Koorschool Suriname will close out this festive year with a musical tribute to the "Domstad". Together they celebrate this special anniversary with a program based around Georg Friedrich Händel’s compelling Utrecht Te Deum.
