Guest soloist Jonathan Mitchell is featured in Saint-Saëns' Romance for Flute and Orchestra, op. 37. Jonathan is a third-year student pursuing a degree in music education, and studies with Katherine Borst Jones.
Program will be selected from popular works such as Mozart's Magic Flute Overture; Strauss' Radetsky March; Tchaikovsky's Waltz from Swan Lake and Copland's Hoe Down, as well as Borodin's Symphony No. 2, from which some motifs inspired songs in the musical Kismet.
