The Jascha Briand Quintett is an international band studying at the Jazz institute Berlin. The Band plays original music written by Jascha Briand. In the concert there will be focus on improvisation and creating room for freedom and spontaneous moments in the music. The different pieces are inspired by the scene in New York and Berlin. You can expect an adventure of swing, beat and richly textured sound and space.

Eine internationale Band aus dem Jazz Institute Berlin die eigene Stücke des Bandleaders Jascha Briand zum Besten gibt. Im Fokus steht die Improvisation und künstlerischer Freiraum für Spontanität. Die Komposition sind von Einflüssen aus der New Yorker und Berliner Szene geprägt. Für das Konzert können sie abenteuerlichen Swing, jede Menge Beats, und eine dichte Textur von Klang und Raum erwarten.
