RYCE grew up in New Jersey, where Sundays meant gospel choirs and the kind of harmonies that shake your soul. Music ran through the walls of his childhood home—especially from his oldest brother, a producer, who first showed him how sound could be both a playground and a calling.

In seventh grade, RYCE took the stage for a school musical and left to a standing ovation. He remembers the feeling vividly—zero fear, pure joy. “I always wanted to perform,” he says. “This is what I’m supposed to do.” As RYCE grew more honest and comfortable in his own skin, moments like that kept coming, shaping the one-of-a-kind voice and style he brings today.

"When you're making music from within who you are—finding yourself, loving God, and loving yourself, which is a big thing—I think it has helped me grow. Those types of enhancements are gifts of growth in artistry. It's about allowing yourself to make mistakes, to live life, to cry, and being comfortable with expressing those emotions. When you're crying through your art or in your toppest moments of joy, be comfortable sharing that too."

Today, specializing in alternative R&B and Christian rap, RYCE makes music from a place that feels deeply rooted in both faith and vulnerability. His music is worship, storytelling, and connection all at once—meant for anyone who’s in search of meaning, healing, or simply a song that relates.
