VOCES8 Foundation High School Collaboration Concert

Grammy-winning vocal ensemble VOCES8 is coming to Westport! The internationally renowned group will be commencing a series of musical education workshops with the top student performance groups at Staples, Wilton, Greenwich, and New Fairfield high schools, culminating with a final performance featuring those students.

The VOCES8 Foundation is committed to expanding its reach into communities receptive to benefits of music education in STEAM learning. Since 2022, the foundation launched a new hub education model — focusing on intentionally selected schools, repeat visits to build connections, and commitments to multi-year programs of work — in five cities/areas throughout the United States. Westport has been identified as the next hub.

VOCES8 Foundation team and LYYRA, the newest performance ensemble from VOCES8, will lead this initiative. Proceeds from final performance will support the ongoing presence of this opportunity for students in Fairfield County.
