Queens of the Stone Age (also known as QOTSA and Queens) is an American rock band from Palm Desert, California. The band was founded in 1996 and is part of the Palm Desert Scene. The line-up of the band changes regularly and the group sometimes allows guest appearances during recordings. The only permanent member of the band is founder Josh Homme.
QOTSA performed at the Pinkpop Festival in 2001, 2003, 2008, 2013, 2023 and 2025.
