Emancipation Park comes alive on Emancipation Day, August 1, 2025 with REDEMPTIONFEST - an explosion of Jamaican culture as we remember and celebrate the things that make us uniquely Jamaican. Action starts at 3.00 p.m. with a showcase of Jamaican art, craft, clothing, dance and music; a traditional food village, a children's village and much more. At 7.00 p.m. there will be a major stage show featuring Benjy Myaz and a host of top-notch artistes. REDEMPTIONFEST ... the place to be on Emancipation Day.
