NEW SOUL GENERATION (‪@ifabird2583‬)
The 12 musicians from Braunschweig and the surrounding area are back with new talent, new songs, and most importantly, even more soul power! Despite an average age of just 16, but that doesn't stop them from bringing funk music of the 60s and 70s to the stage with an authenticity rarely seen in Germany.
Because young people are angry. Angry about decisions being made over their heads, future plans that sinking into chaos, about the racism and sexism that dominate their everyday lives.
This connects them to the teenagers of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s, who helped funk music rise to greatness. United in eternal soul power!
