From the windswept prairies of Champaign-Urban, IL to Nashville, TN, OTNES' musical journey is as diverse as the landscape that nurtured it. In their new project, OTNES, fka Emily Blue, makes indie pop that embraces personal evolution and fearlessly dives into experimentation, fusing dreamy synthscapes with vibrant shades of modern pop. During their Audiotree Live Session, members Peter Vance (bgvox, electric guitar), Evan Opitz (bgvox, electric guitar), Nick Soria (bass), Jody Lee Oliver (drums, sample pad), and OTNES (lead vocals, korg minilogue, electric guitar) perform songs off their album ‘SHOW THEM WHAT’S INSIDE,’ as well as their hit single, “SPIN PT.2.” Interviewed by Audiotree Host, FINGY, the band chats about OTNES' journey from Illinois to Nashville, changes in their songwriting process, and Emily's experience directing music videos.
