As UAE and Egypt mark 50 years of friendship, we invite you to experience the beauty of renowned Egyptian spiritual chanter Sheikh Mahmoud El-Tohamy’s first 'inshad' concert at the historical site of the Pyramids of Giza. Celebrating the upcoming release of his new album 'Aneen', co-produced by Abu Dhabi Festival, the concert saw Sheikh Mahmoud El-Tohamy sing in front of a packed audience at the Sound and Light Theatre as part of his ongoing efforts to revive the use of classical Arabic in contemporary music.

Abu Dhabi Festival 2022 is supported by Lead partner @mubadala and Energy partner GS Energy.

بالتزامن مع الاحتفال بمرور 50 عاماً على تأسيس العلاقات المصرية الإماراتية، أحيا الشيخ محمود التهامي، شيخ المنشدين في جمهورية مصر العربية، الحفل الإنشادي الأول الذي يقام في الموقع التاريخي لأهرامات الجيزة، بمناسبة الإصدار المرتقب لألبومه الجديد "أنين" بإنتاج مشترك من مهرجان أبوظبي، وشهد الحفل الأداء الآسر للشيخ التهامي أمام جمهور حاشد في مسرح الصوت والضوء، في إطار جهوده المستمرة ترسيخا لدور الإنشاد في الحفاظ على الهوية واللغة العربية في إطار الموسيقى المعاصرة.
