Ronan Keating, born March 3, 1977, is an Irish multi-talented personality known for his roles as a singer, songwriter, actor, and television and radio presenter. He rose to fame as part of the Irish pop group Boyzone in 1993, alongside members Keith Duffy, Michael Graham, Shane Lynch, and Stephen Gately. Keating embarked on a successful solo career in 1999, releasing eleven albums to date. His single "When You Say Nothing At All" gained international recognition after being featured in the film "Notting Hill" and topping charts in multiple countries.

Keating's solo career has seen him sell over 20 million records worldwide, in addition to the 25 million records sold with Boyzone. He has been a prominent figure in Australian television, serving as a judge on "All Together Now" in 2018, and on "The X Factor" from 2010 to 2014, as well as a coach on "The Voice Australia" in 2016. His involvement in talent shows extended to coaching on "The Voice Kids UK" from 2022 to 2023, and "The Voice of Germany" in 2023. Presently, he hosts a breakfast show on Magic Radio. Beyond his entertainment career, Keating is dedicated to charitable endeavors, particularly as a campaigner for breast cancer awareness through the Marie Keating Foundation, named after his mother who succumbed to the disease in 1998.

Born and raised in Kilbarrack, County Dublin, Keating is the youngest of five children. His upbringing involved living in Bayside and County Meath, attending St. Fintan's High School. His father, Gerry Keating, worked as a lorry driver, while his mother, Marie, was a mobile hairdresser. Keating has three brothers: Ciarán, Gerard, and Gary, along with one sister, Linda. In his youth, he showcased athletic prowess, notably winning the All Ireland under-13 200 m title in track and field.
