Tuesday, November 30 at 7pm in the Concert Hall the FLC Jazz Band will perform a program highlighting a variety of jazz styles. Featured on the program are two compositions made famous by the great Count Basie Orchestra, Benny Carter’s Vine Street Rumble and Bob Mintzer’s unique interpretation of the classic Basie tune, April in Paris. The performance will also include Rich Sigler’s arrangement of the swing classic Big Swing Face, the funky Shark Sandwich by Darren W. Jenkins, and Sneak Out by David von Kampen. This concert will also feature a performance by the FLC Jazz Combo.
