Unter dem Titel »MeWe« erforscht die »cresc... Biennale für aktuelle Musik Frankfurt Rhein Main 2023« an zwei Wochenenden das Verhältnis von Individuum und Gemeinschaft in einer Vielfalt von Spielarten aktueller Musik. Im Eröffnungskonzert präsentieren das hr-Sinfonieorchester und das Ensemble Modern die klanggewaltigen »Earth Dances« von Sir Harrison Birtwistle.

Under the title »MeWe«, the festival »cresc… Biennial for Current Music Frankfurt Rhine Main« 2023 explores the relationship between the individual and the collective over the course of two weekends, exploring a multitude of varieties of current music. In the opening concert, the Frankfurt Radio Symphony and the Ensemble Modern present the sonically powerful »Earth Dances« by Sir Harrison Birtwistle.
