Since 2009, Connecticut four-piece, Ovlov, has been putting out records that, while sporadic, have undoubtedly influenced the landscape of northeastern indie rock. Although they've been compared to behemoths like Dinosaur Jr. and Sebadoh, the band has built out their own unique sound defined by thick layers of their trademark fuzz, wry wit, and pop sensibility. Playing songs from their extensive discography, Ovlov's Audiotree Live Session is both a testament to their growth and ambition as well as a celebration of friendship and fuzz pedals. During their interview with Audiotree Host, Psalm One, the band chats about their 2023 reflections, their takes on Nintendo, and their experience growing up playing music in Newtown, Connecticut.
