Caribou: Live Concert | CBC Music Live

London-based, Canadian electronic artist and producer @caribou (a.k.a. Dan Snaith), played to an ecstatic, sold-out crowd at History. For his homecoming show, Snaith leaned heavily into tracks from his latest album, Honey. The audience pulsed along to "Volume," "Climbing" and "Broke My Heart,” but Snaith included some of his quintessential tracks like “Odessa,” “Our Love” and “Sun,” much to the crowd’s excitement. The dazzling light show and kaleidoscopic visuals created an immersive dancey, ravey vibe. Snaith moved between synths and one of two drum kits that were front and centre for everyone to witness both the mastery and energy that goes into playing an electronic set live. The show wrapped with a heartfelt thank you and fist pumps from Snaith: “This is the best thing in the world. We love doing this so much. We feel so lucky to get to play for you, so thank you for coming. Thank you, for real.” Snaith’s iconic 2014 hit, “Can’t Do Without You,” wrapped the show and had the crowd swaying, singing and sharing their gratitude right back to the stage.
