Red Hot Chili Peppers is an American rock band formed in 1982 in Los Angeles, California. The band is known for combining funk, rap, punk with rock. The band currently consists of Anthony Kiedis (vocals), Flea (bass), Chad Smith (drums) and John Frusciante (guitar). Well-known ex-members include Josh Klinghoffer, Hillel Slovak, Jack Irons (of Eleven and Pearl Jam) and Dave Navarro (of Jane's Addiction). The Red Hot Chili Peppers are best known for their albums Blood Sugar Sex Magik (1991), Californication (1999), By the Way (2002), Stadium Arcadium (2006), I'm with You (2011) and The Getaway (2016). Well-known singles include Under the Bridge, Otherside, Californication, By the Way, Dani California and Snow ((Hey Oh)). In 2012, the Red Hot Chili Peppers were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 2022 into the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2022, the albums Unlimited Love and Return of the Dream Canteen were released.
