Cigar Box Scott takes a live audience on a tour through traditional American folk music, play old-time music, bluegrass, Gospel music, and blues. Telling the origins of the songs and a glimpse into the patchwork quilt that is American music, Scott plays fast and slow through a mix of songs and musical styles.

The concert was performed at the Leo Coffeehouse in Cincinnati, OH, a folk music club put on by the Queen City Balladeers folk music society. The setlist of songs includes:
Cluck Ol' Hen
When I Was a Cowboy
Shady Grove
Columbus Stockade
Gallows Pole (Gallis Pole, Hangman)
Come All Ye Fair And Tender Ladies
Honey Babe Blues
Green Green Rocky Road
Linin' Track

He uses his cigar box guitar to adapt and change the songs into new stylings. Scott plays a four string cigar box guitar made by Shane Speal of York, Pa and his own homemade instrument, the foot stompbox. Often called a cigar box banjo, the instrument lends itself to a old time folk music sound.
