Saul Hudson (born July 23, 1965), better known by his stage name Slash, is an English-American musician. He is best known as the lead guitarist of the American rock band Guns N' Roses, in which he played from 1985 to 1996 and returned in 2016. In the meantime, he formed Slash's Snakepit and co-founded Velvet Revolver, along with former Guns N' Roses bandmates Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum. His debut album as a solo artist, simply called Slash, came out in 2010. This solo project was followed up with Apocalyptic Love (2012), World on Fire (2014), Living the Dream (2018) and 4 (2022).
