Nickelback is a Canadian rock band formed in 1995 in Hanna, Alberta. The band consists of lead vocalist and guitarist Chad Kroeger, guitarist and keyboardist Ryan Peake, bassist Mike Kroeger, and drummer Daniel Adair. Known for their distinctive blend of post-grunge, hard rock, and alternative rock, Nickelback rose to international fame with the release of their third album Silver Side Up in 2001, driven by the massive success of the single "How You Remind Me."

Their breakthrough was followed by the release of multiple hit albums, including The Long Road (2003) and All the Right Reasons (2005), the latter becoming their best-selling album. This record produced popular singles such as "Photograph," "Far Away," and "Rockstar," solidifying their position in mainstream rock. Over the years, Nickelback's sound has evolved, but they have maintained their commercial appeal, selling over 50 million records worldwide.

Despite facing criticism for their musical style's perceived repetitiveness, they have remained one of the most successful Canadian bands in history. In 2023, Nickelback was inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame. Their latest album, Get Rollin', was released in 2022.
