On his new album On Higher Dreams (Wah Wah 45s) IKE meanders along the boundaries of folk, jazz, and electronics, weaving a sound that resonates in the unique acoustics of the still-standing ballroom. Inspired by his exploration of the Egyptian terrain, neoteric soundscapes emerge from the dusty remains.
