Rammstein is a German metal band that produces "Tanzmetall", or a synthesis of progressive metal, industrial and techno, with some gothic influences. Rammstein, however, claims to have developed a completely unique (German) style. The vocals are provided by Till Lindemann and can be characterized as raw, blunt and dominant. The guitar music consists mainly of very heavy electric pieces, and mainly serves as the engine of the music. In addition to drums, Rammstein uses a keyboard, which is used in almost all songs. The music has a lot in common with industrial. Rammstein doesn't just have hard songs; their oeuvre also includes tender ballads such as Seemann, Klavier, Nebel, Ohne Dich, Stirb nicht vor mir, Ein Lied, Frühling in Paris, Roter Sand and Diamant.
